August 29, 1999 About the ShrinkIt archive SPA.SHK Welcome to the Windows to Macintosh to Apple IIgs port of Christopher Pirillo's South Park Icons to graphic file conversions. The graphic files in this archive can be viewed online with your favorite graphical web browser from the GS WorldView August, 1999 ezine issue. http://www.grin.net/~cturley/gsezine/GS.WorldView/*******Aug99/ These JPEG and GIF 256 color graphics inside of the 'SouthPark.Art ' folder were originally icons and were originally created on Windows, then ported to the Mac as icons. I thought, why not convert them so IIgs users can use them also? So, that's just what I've done. The files within this archive are all freeware graphics compiled and converted 1999 by Ben Johnston to use as you wish. I've included a SuperConvert v4.0 GIF to SHR conversion as an Apple IIgs Apple Super High Resolution graphic file named Chef.SHR as an example. With the exception of the Chef.SHR graphic file all others are in text file format for easy access and use by the above mentioned IIgs graphic convert programs. If need be you can change the file type of any of them to binary, should any IIgs graphic convert program require the binary file type to load the graphic file. This may be required with such programs as Prism, The Graphics Exchange and Convert 3200, which I've never tested them for loading with. With the Apple IIgs graphic convert programs like SuperConvert v4.0, Image Quant, Prism, The Graphics Exchange and Convert 3200 that can change the JPEG and GIF graphics back into IIgs icon files or even SHR 256 color or 3200 graphic files, if you like SouthPark, then you should get a real kick out of these. That's All Folks & Enjoy ! MacProber
