Does anyone else feel watched when participating in these early stages of Gemini? I think that regardless of wether Gemini grows to be much more popular or if it dies tomorrow, future historians will find a time capsule with all of today's gemini space and study this little internet phenomenon with great interest.

I agree that Gemini will never be as big or important as the web. But I still think that in a hundred, two hundred years from now, people want to study the early internet, and off-shoots like Gemini will stand out to some, or at least to ONE historian. They will be researching the regular web too, but it has an impossible volume, while Gemini space is small and could be studied in its entirety. · 1 year ago

It's cool to imagine, but I think it will get about the same attention gopher got, which is not a lot.

Yeah, it will stay around, and yeah, small following will still be using it years from now, but it will never be big.

Which is both good and bad in a way. I don't need another commercialized space on my internets. · 1 year ago

then that will mean that gemini was important enough to be studied upon ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ · 1 year ago
