ShrinkIt v3.4 EXE (Self-Extracting)

Filename: SHRINK.EXE

This is the self-extracting version of ShrinkIt v3.4 by Andy Nicholas,
with documentation. To self-extract, type -SHRINK.EXE from
BASIC.SYSTEM's "]" prompt.

] -SHRINK.EXE

ShrinkIt is an Apple II utility program for archiving files and disks.
Archiving refers to the process of placing files or disks "within"
another file -- the archive file. Shrinkit is the standard archiving
format for Apple II programs. All uploads on this page, except for those
in Text file format , are packed in Shrinkit. To handle theage-old
question, "How do I get Shrinkit if I don't already have Shrinkit?" we
have a self-extracting download which you make into theShrinkit program
+docs using AppleSoft BASIC.

For more information about using Shrinkit, read the Apple II FAQS at:

http://home.swbell.net/rubywand/Csa2FLUTILS.html

Download Shrink.exe Shrinkit in a self-extracting, executable text
file.
Download, (transfer to your Apple II if necessary,) get into AppleSoft
BASIC (run BASIC.SYSTEM), and type -SHRINK.EXE (that's a dash, then the
file name). Be sure to set the PREFIX first to the location of the
downloaded Shrink.exe file. For example,

] PREFIX /HD1
] -SHRINK.EXE

Shrinkit will self-extract, along with a documentation file. You can
then use Shrinkit v3.4 to unpack any of the downloads on this site -
except those in Text file format, which can be read or downloaded
directly.
