I just lost two hours because Pandas is developed by people in the US, so read_csv parses dates assuming by default they are in mm-dd-yyyy format ._.

mm-dd-yyyy format is a very strange format. Every time I come across its, it comes as a shock to me. It would be nice to know the logic behind it. The people who use it probably have very out-of-the-box thinking. Isn't it more important to know the current day? · 6 months ago
