Archive: disk_][_noise.zip inflating: disk ][ calibrate inflating: Disk ][ head seek inflating: Disk ][ head seek 2 inflating: Disk ][ startup inflating: Disk ][ Pascal Start These are recordings I made on my Mac IIsi of Disk ][ noises, following a recent request in comp.emulators.apple2. 8 bit mono, via the MacMicrophone input. They are in .WAV format. There's a bit of background noise and quite a lot of "empty space" in the recordings that I didn't edit out. But they may prove useful for people wanting to recreate the unique sounds Disk ][ drives made as they buzzed and whirred and scraped the bits off the floppies. Adrian.
