Ground: Useful Stuff GSHK_dsk.zip Use WinZIP or a similar utility to unzip GSHK_dsk.zip to obtain GSHK.dsk. GSHK.dsk is a non-bootable 5.25" ProDOS diskette named "GSHK" in .dsk disk image form. It contains GSHK and Block.Warden. The disk image is in standard DOS 3.3 order to enable transfer and conversion to diskette using ADT. GSHK.dsk may also be transferred using a regular telecom connection; and, the file can be converted to diskette using DSK2FILE or ASIMOV. GSHK- also called "GS-ShrinkIt" and "ShrinkIt-GS". This is the IIgs version of the standard Apple II archiving program. It's chief use is to create and unpack file archives (usually .shk) and whole-disk archives (may be .shk or .sdk files). GSHK is freeware by Andy Nicholas and Dave Lyons. GSHK runs under GS System-- e.g. System 6.0.1. Block.Warden- sometimes called "ZAP". This is a handy block editing utility by Glen Bredon. Block Warden runs under ProDOS and can be launched from the usual IIgs Finder desktop. For speedier use, copy these files to a hard disk or to a 3.5" diskette.
