@astroseneca Don't be fooled, "window management" is exactly that: how you deal with arranging and interacting with windows. Tiling window managers like i3 make it easy to focus on one window at a time or keep several of them next to each other in a focused and compact way, but since every other open window is still only a couple of keystrokes away it's about as effective for keeping the user focused as putting your text editor in fullscreen. If anything the speed of navigation almost makes procrastinating easier. · 8 months ago
I always love to see another i3wm user, especially if they've got a slick setup. I've considered switching to Awesome a couple of times but i3 is just so easy to set up and tweak, which lines up well with my desire to put as little continued effort in as possible. · 8 months ago
