JBanana asks:

What's a place you've been to that would amaze us if we visited?

Out in western rural Kansas, there's a bunch of rocks that are really tall. This might not sound amazing on its face, but, the thing about rural Kansas is that it is *perfectly* flat. You can drive for literally days and never see any geological elevation changes, and even the trees are mostly short. So, the fact that you can stand by these massive rocks, looking out over an infinitely flat horizon in every direction, is kinda amazing. This is especially true if you factor in travel time. To get to these massive rocks, you have to actually drive for hours through perfectly flat farmland. The sight of any deviation in horizontal epoch will stun you; the scale and number of these rocks only add to that (and add quite a bit!).

I had the pleasure of visiting these giant rocks in August of 2020. Even during the pandemic era hours and hours from the nearest town, they were quite the tourest attraction and I was not alone in my visit. Still, it was awesome.
