i wanna but i cannot

Straight up -- I don't wanna be one of those climate collapse people...but here I am.

I think I've become one.

I wanna feel hope, to look at my children and think "yeah, they'll totally have a bright, awesome future." Lately, however, that is become hard. I don't wanna live in a world where all I feel towards the future is dread.

So...I'm taking to gemini space again! Treating it like OG LiveJournal, and panicking out loud, but quietly.

Do you feel much more than dread for the future? I'd love to know.
