Emulation is cool because I can actually act on the game recommendations that my dad gives me instead of just watching Youtube videos on them. There's at least 6 generations that I could in theory play on my computer(that is, 6th generation and before), so I thought I'd just write an article on my favorite emulators in decreasing rank, and what I play most often on them.
I mostly just use this thing to play Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 2 and 3; I also like playing Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes and seeing how many push-ups I can do before I get caught. One of the few Discord communities I actively participate in is the ones focused around these two games, "Budokai Tenkaichi 2 Community" and "Tenkaichi Otherworld" respectively. I'll put the links below.
I mainly just either play through Bully or Yakuza on this one nowadays.
The only game I have on here is Sonic Adventure, and I have very little progress on this one. Apparently the web functionality in the game still works(although obviously the sitedirected to is no longer owned by Sega, its a fan community now.)
I've used this one more often than Flycast, but in a far less recent time. Beat a few levels of MediEvil over a weak before dropping the game, and played a bit of Bloody Roar on my dad's recommendation. Didn't manage to find online players to git gud with, though, which is sad.
I have this installed, but I don't remember the last time I've ever used it. I don't even currently have any SNES games downloaded.
If anyone else has any game recommendations for me, just send me a message on XMPP, or leave it in the guestbook if you're desparate enough. Maybe I shouldn't encourage that...
