Slow Propagation

zombie outbreak went about as you ��d expect
full pandemic failure of human intellect
oasis here and there of thinking, technology holding on
a few generations gone, and we ��re settled in
spread back out, good gates, good doors
no windows on the first floor, watchful
thankful that our horrors were slow ones
learning young, don ��t shuffle your feet
not just impolite, but likely to get a claxon ring
and too many cries of Z makes one sad boy
all alone, or in the uneducated lost-lands
just shot, stretched, blessed, and wrecked
nothing rising without its neck
