Disaster, Damn Near
September 1, 2021
two steps gently, outside tension slack
hip left lets go, hip right, sympathetic
bandwagons, torso having a self moment
floating there unsupported, thought processes
flashing yellow warning caution
triggering connective tissue holds
still standing
assessment, sockets swelling
something on par with eating a bad kick milking
body rucking its pieces and parts out like cloth
shuck this particular bit here, and since we ��re at it
unroll the other curtain boneless
caught last second, lazy dog return
still standing
might ��s well step, younger doesn ��t come
gummed joints might hobble, but the wobble won ��t kip
just get on with it, manufacture stability
half ass swagger implying whole ass hasn ��t departed yet
one sweet soft war traded in for another
and there ��s still coffee to get
