About my Apple II History conversion project

This Apple II history was originally written by Steven Weyhrich, in the 1990's as *23* different text files! Depending on how you measure it, in total it's between 300 and 400 pages! Over the years, Steven edited the files, added some content, ported them to HTML, added some low quality images. These versions are scattered around, in various states for completeness, and slowly succumbing bit rot.

The versions that do exist have many issues:

I collected the various versions, formatted them to markdown, added metadata, and replaced the unknown/unsourced images with high resolution images from sources like Wikipedia or the Internet Archive. The markdown is available via GitHub. I then converted that Markdown to Gemtext for publication here.

Licensing

An HTML version of the history was published in the early 2000's under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.0 Generic (CC BY-NC-ND 2.0) license. While this license does prohibit derivative works, the Creative Commons FAQ says that changing the format of a work, such as from HTML to Markdown or Gemtext, does not constitute a derivative or adaption, and is allowed under NoDerivs licenses.

When I release my work under a CC license in one format (e.g., .pdf), can I restrict licensees from changing it to or using it in other formats?
