OUTGOING MESSAGES

most recent at the top

General note: if i missed your message oops sorry my bad.

I DO have an email bugleaguechew@gmail.com, which i check very infrequently, but if you send something there i will for sure see it eventually.

@ztbd thank you!!

@idi I’m so glad you have uncovered the hidden meaning of my poem. Keep in mind, i am always speaking in code. To the mindful observer, there is always more meaning to be found.

@idi i love beck and i hope you get a picture of a cryptid. Have i ever shared with you the story of the cryptid i saw in Montana when i went there on my gap year. I have a picture but i need to go get it from my old hard drive. Will get back to you on this

@big-green-girl shhhh no i didn’t

@yesworms I’m pro-dog. I’m dog-pilled. you gotta think it through and plan for it but companionship is such a beautiful thing and dogs are pretty resilient. Puppies are more work than older dogs and will need some training of some kind if it’s gonna work long term. Especially pitbull babies, but they can be so sweet given the chance.

@big-green-girl ask my shrink

@evilswampmonster yes i love that movie. Banshees of Inisherin

@big-green-girl like the movie The Big Green? I’m cogsworth btw

@mothbaby you make a compelling argument. Maybe I’m a shoes off guy now.

@moldgold222 didn’t see your message til now. I’m smiling at the thought of Goblin writing a little blog post. My sisters and I will sometimes send texts from her perspective in our little group chat and she has a distinct voice. Beck and Goblin had a fun little playdate and it made me really proud. Whenever i see the 222 at the end of your name it reminds me of being a kid bc that’s the address of my grandparents old house and i used to get really fixated on how it was all twos.

@unclealtoid I’m Very into the trench coat and I’m on board with the detective bit. I’ve been in the market for a good trench coat and you have been reminding me lately of how cool they are.

@princess-jesus parting gifts are hard because it could go either way. I made a parting playlist for someone I really was not ready to part with and it was hard for me. Never heard any feedback from the other end, but all of those songs, especially the happy ones, have new meaning now. Sometimes I feel defiant in enjoying them, but they always have the color of goodbye from now on. I think if it helps you, go ahead. You should prioritize how YOU feel about it more than how you think it will be received. The last time I ended things with someone, I think I tried too hard to be kind and it made the experience more painful for the person I was trying not to hurt. She didn't make me a playlist specifically as a parting gift, but I found it hard in my guilt to listen to the playlist she had made me a month before. That's my two cents, make of it what you will.

@ztbd ah I see I gotta upload from the main site, not from within the gmi file

thankyou.jpg

@yesworms there is a big snake who has a big snake in his stomach and that guys name is Ouroboros, one of my favorite creatures. I'm not sure if this is technically the same creature because the Ouroboros is more of a metaphor for the unending cycle of birth death and rebirth, but in medieval times (source?) they thought there was a kind of snake who grabbed its tail in its mouth and rolled around like a wheel, which is so funny to me. I'm glad you found comfort in my writing, your anecdote about mold in ancient China really resonated with me. I think in a lot of ways we have lost touch with the value we used to place on intuition. Lately I've really been leaning on my idea that faith is much stronger than I ever gave it credit for.

@idi playing HELLBALL: YOU ARE THE BALL

my high score 700

playing Dipping Your Feet Into The Water To See If It Is Cold

https://rowen-conry.itch.io/dipping-your-feet-into-the-water-to-see-if-it-is-cold

got an 8/10 I would really like to get a 10

@mothbaby I do not know this drilling game but it sounds like a good one. My sister still plays all the Papa's Pizzeria type games (which I never really liked) but shes in high school. I guess maybe all the kids are playing roblox and stuff nowadays. I'm sorry i missed out on new girl trivia it sounds very funny I cant believe it wasnt over after two hours. I've very recently become goal-pilled and I'm making a lot of long term and short term plans for the future, and while I think you're right that it can be disappointing to not meet your plans in the chaos of the present, it's so valuable to me to have a mission, to have a purpose, however vague, to try and achieve. I think the disappointment can be made worse when you get caught up in the details, but I think that maintaining your current happiness and planning on a specific vibe for your life is a valid and worthwhile goal. For me, the desire for growth and progress provides some structure to the passing of time and gives me something to gauge it by. In the peak of quarantine, I was at my most depressed, and I had no goals and everything felt stagnant. All the days blended together and still somehow lasted so long. When I'm moving towards something, I feel like I'm moving through time rather than it moving through me. Those r my thoughts.

@mothbaby working on a prototype for Beer For Cats TM. It tastes really good I can tell you that much. Its real

@princess-jesus oohh i forgot you were on shrooms when you watched that. An intense experience to even the most sober viewer. I still think he enjoys it mostly. He ate the peep

@idi thank you for your warm welcome. I appreciate your take on the PBS Spacetime guy. I think you hit the nail right on the head. His smartness and his voice are a crucial part of the equation. I lost the plot on the video I watched today, but it really made no impact on my enjoyment. I'm a big fan of your square hands dream soccer man, great character design. Oh and your poems so sweet make me cry ok
