Heyo, here's a quick little update on my potato growing adventure! I've held off planting for longer than I was originally planning to, since somehow there's been frost and snow again the past few weeks. However, I think the worst has probably passed now, and I really wanted to plant in March, so I've gone ahead and done it today.

I've mostly stuck to the plan so far: I have a big wooden box, added a base layer of soil, put in the potatoes, and added another layer of soil. I then watered them, and now I'm going to wait and hope they will break the earth sometime soon.

I forgot to line the sides of the box, so there's some uncovered slits still that soil might leak out of; however, they're still visible, so I can line them before adding the next layer of soil.
My roommate's calling that dinner is ready, so I'll wrap up for now. See you in the next post!
