discovering Gemini. Find it awesome so far.
what are your thoughts about this new protocol? i like its simplicity and the idea of being "off the grid" in a way. it pretty refreshing.
It's great, but remember: this is still the open internet, and google is indexing it.
Google is indexing the web though, not Gemini. Or is it?
There are gemini->web portals which (stupidly) don't forbid crawling in robots.txt, so google is indexing gemini via those. You can test by searching for something only on gemini.
