@martin Honestly though, Station doesn't come close to the toxicity that Social Networking on the web does. Although, I think there's still some tendencies that might carry over (like constantly checking for replies, for example), but they seem maybe less pronounced. · 9 months ago

@martin Lol. I'm not planning on doing the entire web. There are some thing on the web that would be impossible to bring to Gemini without a proxy - this includes copyrighted material, or material that a website only was given rights to (like much of Sefaria's material), as well as companies that won't care for making Gemini interfaces (YouTube, Github, and Twitch).
Things like Wikis, however, should be native to Gemini, and the information can be imported from the web if needed to get information, instead of it just being a proxy. This is what godocs does. I discuss this in one of my latest devlog posts. · 9 months ago
