Dear OpenBSD users. Is it just me or Lagrange is much less smooth compared to Linux/Windows? I tried to debug myself but the frametime seems quite Ok. IDK, Lagrange it way beyond my skill level. I just know C and some SDL.

@skyjake Right, I should have make it clear. Yes, smooth as in scrolling smoothness.

I'm very sure SDL is in rendering using OpenGL and my GPU is working. If I pass the --sw flag, the CPU util goes much higher. I'm running OpenBSD 7.1 w/ a 6700XT and glxinfo shows it's using the hardware. I also tried all Debug, RelWithDebInfo and Release. All of them have the same choppiness. · 11 months ago

Smooth as in frame rate when scrolling?

The first things that come to mind are 1) is SDL using software rendering mode and 2) if you compiled manually, was the build type set to Release? · 11 months ago
