@skyjake Thats very interesting, and super wierd. So it was a server problem all this time. Because the issue is only visibly noticable on phone, I was under the impression the problem was just alpha/beta growing pains. My bad for making assumptions on things I know little. Ill do my part to atleast make the issue known by making a post on SDFs bboard about it, and try to find an admin to inform about that. Now I wonder why desktop *does* work and render stuff properly when it supposedly really shouldnt. · 1 year ago
Yeah, @skyjake helped me fix the problem. Now I'm just waiting for the SDF guys to get back to me (if they ever will) · 1 year ago
@smokey This isn't a Lagrange bug. Looks like the gem.sdf.org server doesn't know how to handle resumed TLS session tickets: it doesn't give a valid Gemini response if I try to resume the session even via the command line using the `openssl s_client` tool (part of the OpenSSL library). · 1 year ago
confirmed your gem.sdf.org one does indeed work, "help me it keeps breaking" hope I helped :P · 1 year ago
Its most likely lagrange being buggy then, at least theres no server-side issue LOL · 1 year ago
According to the Lagrange dev, SDF are using outdated server software, or something. · 1 year ago
Are you using lagrange on phone? thats a common bug for me as well on the beta android version of lagrange. The desktop version is nice and stable but the phone versions are a tad buggy · 1 year ago
I am a metaARPA user. · 1 year ago
gem.sdf.org is reserved for META Array users (sdf premium 35$ lifetime membership) while regular sdf.org is for the cluster server ( free membership users) · 1 year ago
Plus, when I go to gemini://sdf.org/hbag, I get a "not found" error on Lagrange. · 1 year ago
@smokey No, that's the one on gemini://sdf.org, I'm talking about the one on gemini://gem.sdf.org. I don't know why there's two servers. It seems NOTHING on gem.sdf.org works. · 1 year ago
I an access your capsule, its showing up and says "hilbo" so atleast its working somewhat. Sometimes when you try to connect to your capsule many times in a short period it will throw a "TLS connection refused" error. just wait a few minutes · 1 year ago
start mkgopher and run chmod if you havent already. · 1 year ago
