There is source code in the comp.sources.apple2 archives that creates and
undoes the AAF format.

It's not too hard to undo it by hand, if you have a decent text editor.  An
AAF file consists of three kinds of lines:

1.  Lines that begin with "=".  The remainder of the line contains a file
name.  The data lines that follow should be put into the named file.

2.  Lines that begin with "-".  The remainder of the line contains data for
the most-recently-named file.  The leading "-" should be stripped off, and
whatever's left goes into the file.

3.  Lines that begin with "+".  This indicates the end of the archive.

Any line that doesn't begin with one of those three characters is not part
of the archive, and should be ignored.
