Pretty much everything is right on cue. On the CD-ROM (of System 6.0) there
was a freeware Finder Extension from Seven Hills Software (called
QuickLaunch). It is available on most of the Online services by now.

You can either stick the extensions in the System.Setup folder or a new folder
called FinderExtras. If they are in FinderExtras they are only loaded when the
Finder is loaded.

Well, having seen how MUCH documentation (for developers) was on the CD-ROM,
I'd say it depends. If you are just a user, you should be able to work pretty
well without any extra documentation. If you're a developer though, you'd
DEFINITELY want the documentation that covers all the new stuff.

The fluff that comes in the package you'd buy from the dealer isn't worth the
money most of the time, IMHO.

Oh, and BTW, Andy Nicholas, Dave Lyons *** WAKE UP ***. I didn't mind the
notes being in AWGS word processing form, but I sure would have appreciated
more tab stops in the documents......ARGH!
