The entire frame is filled up with the shadowy background of the ground and the bare branches of some plant, yet a few beams of sunlight can be seen making it to the ground, in the bottom left corner. The bare branches have a slight blue hue, which I suspect was from the corrections I made to the scan (this image was either scanned from a print, or a negative. This is evident because a few dust particles can be seen in the upper 5th of the image) The star of the show is the dried, beige, papery seed-head of the plant (I forget what it is, exactly) It is dead center and in focus, with the rest of the image not in focus, giving the image a slight dynamic, like the seed-head is popping out of the frame.
