Mira is a yoga 460 thinkpad. This thinkpad was chosen due to it's inclusion of pen input and touch screen. All computing devices should have pen and touch.
up to the present mira has had several different operating systems: endless OS - a linux distro which uses app packs for all packages and maintains a readonly operating system, and void linux - a minimal anti systemd distribution. These both have served us rather well but we are considering moving to 9front as the only os on here. To "Take the plunge" in a desktop plan9 experiance.we don't know if the pen input or touch is supported by plan9 but there's only one way to find out. And what better way to learn the system than by hacking on it?
