I've not been this enraged in a long time.
Tonight, the UK Prime Minister defended his unelected aide after it was revealed that he'd travelled across the country to his second home whilst infected with Coronavirus, against the rules. After months of families unable to visit each other, mothers unable to say goodbye to dying children, and millions more sacrifices - he gets away with it.
And then the Prime Minister lacks the sense to see that it might not be a good idea to address the nation and lie to us all about it.
A political friend used to often say when The Guardian and The Mail (Daily Mail) run the same headline, give up immediately. Let's see if Boris follows that particular adage.
What baffles me most is this is a man that holds no elected office. He isn't even a member of the Conservative party! And the PM thinks he is worth saving so badly he's willing to lie to a press pack and public when he knows they know he's lying.
This will stick.
