idk

i dont know much of any formal math. i technically know calculus, sums, series, intro to formal proofs.

special interest, but no formal dedication to (cries) of math at higher levels including,

fourier functions,

-- n-dimensional analysis/transforms

hilbert curves

-- hilbert filling curves

-- hilbert fractal curves

one-way-functions

-- links to p is(n't) np

open question

if im on a hilbert curve looking out, is it possible for me to know if the line i see next to me is nearby on the curve line or what.

or maybe is it hard to tell how far apart on a hilbert line, a localized pair would be.

ok new way to say it with story

story and a question

i am a civilization on a hilbert curve. i look up (the only direction i can) and i see another civilization above me on the (same??) hilbert curve. They have something I need to survive, but if I attempt to take it, they will catch me and send armies to destroy me.

The problem is, armies can only travel along the hilbert curve road and I know that armies can only travel for so long before they get stretched too thin to be effective, and so they have to retreat without completing their mission.

Is it possible to know if the line across from current local hilbert line is nearby in the sequential order? what is the minimum amount of information needed to know this ?

i want to believe

i want to believe that p is np. i think it could help shift thinking in ways that could be beneficial, but also informed by analysis of societies structures.

i also know this probably is futile, but it can still be a nice thought experiment to play around with.
