Somewhere along the beam of the bear, path of the turtle, there is a little shed turned tiny house/workshop, occupied by an isolated, autistic hobbyist who struggles with feeling as though they're in the wrong time and place.
Caught up in a world that has moved on (and continues to do so), they look around in confusion as the eyes are met with all manner of stainless steel and plastic appliances with colourful LCD displays, blinding blue LEDs and voice recognition, among other annoying curiosities.
In a misguided attempt to feel more at home in this alien world, they've chosen to adopt the command line interface as the sole means of using a computer, preferably operating on some flavour of unix in order to actually get shit done without going blind in the process.
This outpost serves as a place for the above hobbyist to share their thoughts, ideas, code, complaints and other writings on various subjects of interest.
