i had an extremely rough past week. emotionally, mainly. i won't go into it, but just believe when i say it was mentally unbearable. there was a moment i had to go just chill sitting out in the car since i couldn't be around anyone. now, i'm doing okay. haven't been doing much-actually, i've been doing the opposite of anything. managed to work on my website a tiny bit, and fooled around here on gemini. i'll stay proud of small things, don't worry.
this past day i had half a meatball sub & half a grilled chicken cheddar sub from potbelly's. it's a local-ish chain around here that mainly does hot and cold subs, soups, and shakes. my favorite from them is their chicken pot pie soup and the grilled chicken cheddar. ૮ ˶´ ᵕˋ ˶ა my boyfriend and i were ordering their in-house mayonaise for a while and it got us into making our own. we like smooth/creamy mayos!
played some fall guys, and ffxiv. i'm finally trying to actually get ᵎᵎintoᵎᵎ stuff. especially together with my honey!
our kitchen sink that's long been needing repairs fell into the cabinet a bit so we're onto repairing that within the next few days. going to the pet supply store for pick-up tomorrow & grocery shopping!
i feel like i talk about shopping in general a lot but i really don't... i haven't been out just shopping for a bit, and still haven't gone to the thrift like i'd love to. now i just really want to look at home goods and craft supplies! & i want to go to garden centers! or when i go to D.C, going to the botanical gardens and galleries there. auuughhh! it'll all be worth it when i've really busted my ass working on the house and finally take a long day trip and maybe even stay overnight. i live close enough that day trips are fine, but i love to stay in (affordable) hotels... barring the pandemic and all, (hotels are really safe!) whenever i can i like to take overnight stays at hotels. it's another reason why those relaxing asmr-adjacent japanese hotel and ferry trip videos are so relaxing for me, because it's a hobby(?) i actually enjoy... lol (.‸.) some of my hobbies are boring and quiet and almost all of them are kinda stupidly decadent. that's the fruit of my life! (˶ᵔᴗᵔ˶ ♡
trying to work on self-doubting language because my rejection sensitivity and projection needs working on! writing these journals will also hopefully be a practice in that. thinking about what kind of archival system i want for my journals too. will i delete them after a certain amount and save them for myself or should i make a seperate page? hm!
also going to try to work on interacting more with the yesterweb community and folks... i'm super quiet overall but i want to make more friends! even as much as i talk about how hard it is for me to talk to people. slowly, i'm gaining confidence i think. joined cinni's social network recently and excited to see how it grows! i wanna use the oekaki board more too... and post on melon's forums and work on the rpgmaker game inspired by my ocs i've always wanted to try making. so many outlets and ways to connect/get inspired! ଘ(੭´꒳`)
