So it's, uh... a 1980's made for TV movie. It's a competent 1980's made for TV movie. That's about all that needs to be said about the quality of this thing. There is nothing interesting about it except for the fact that Dennis finds a dinosaur bone in his front yard. The rest of the movie involves Mr. Mitchell's old college friend "Bones" arriving to organize a dig to search for more bones, not finding any, planting some fake ones, convincing Mr. Mitchell's company who is financing the dig to open up a dinosaur amusement park, Mrs. Mitchell organizing a protest against it, and Dennis finally spilling the beans that Bones is a fraud. There's also a side plot about Mr. and Mrs. Wilson's 40th anniversary and Mrs. Wilson taking a part-time job to pay for a trip to Hawaii, but it's just as boring as the rest of it.
