a repeat of the colombia from last time and a new tanzania. my last roast of the kenya was way underdone so my goal for these roasts was to slow down the rate-of-rise descent and use a lighter touch on the power to not stall. it seems to have worked great and i got good looking and smelling roasts from both! learning!!

went quite a bit darker this time to see if i could get something that would be a little better for espresso. the previous roast was probably a full city roast and was good espresso and an amazing americano or french press. i hope a little darker should even out some of the honey process funk for espresso.

first roast of this coffee so just exploring what's good. i aimed for a city+ roast and based on the numbers i think i nailed it. i had a bit of a flick/crash in the colombia which i wanted to avoid so paid a little more attention near the start of first crack which seemed to work. we'll see how this tastes in a few days!
