Unpopular? opinion: get rid of the feature to minimize windows. I mostly only ever do it by mistake and haven't needed it in forever. If they ever give me the launch codes to macOS, it's *gone*, I tell you!

My biggest complaint with MacOS minimize tabs is that alt tab wont open minimized tabs like it does on windows. I find this incredibly annoying · 2 years ago

I use the minimize and maximize features all the time :/ · 2 years ago

TBH I use "minimize all" kind of stuff pretty often, never on individual windows. · 2 years ago

👽 gnuserland

I actually use it a lot, I would remove maximize. · 2 years ago

Minimizing is an admission that either you or your window manager is bad at managing windows :) · 2 years ago

i3wm doesn't have that feature 🤣. it's the most productive window manager I ever used. there are people who minimize though, they don't code and don't like Linux · 2 years ago

Having used blackbox and similar window managers since like 2001 (and configuring everything else to replicate the behavior), I can't fathom moving and resizing windows any other way than using the alt button and clicking in them. · 2 years ago
