Ok, this is officially my first gemlog.
I don't know what to write about but all I can think about right now is my cat.
Momo is a seven-year-old cat who entered my life when I was in middle school.
My mom just told me that my grandpa fattened him up by about four pounds in the half-month since my grandma was out visiting relatives.
Grandpa fed Momo an estimated ten days' worth of cat food in three days without restraint, and then he became what he looks like now.
Okay, he needs to start losing weight again now (for his health's sake).
I haven't seen him in over 6 months and I miss him like crazy.
With a little poem by Pablo Neruda, I wish Momo on the other side of the ocean good dreams today.
How neatly a cat sleeps,
sleeps with its paws and its posture,
sleeps with its wicked claws,
and with its unfeeling blood,
sleeps with all the rings-
a series of burnt circles-
which have formed the odd geology
of its sand-colored tail.
I should like to sleep like a cat.
