If you haven't been able to tell by the overwrought navel gazing in the last few missives here...I've got some #feels.
2020 has been...a year...as I'm certain you are almost 100% assuredly well aware; so far, a few days in, 2021 has been one heck of a year too. That all said I think perspective is something I've lost recently, so I'm trying to get some back -- despite the hellaciousness of the never-ending churn, shit could be, as they say, much worse.
I've got a heap to be thankful for -- first and foremost, my grandma who was recently found to have covid seems to have recovered, never having had any symptoms!? That is something I am most heapingly thankful for.

Nextly is the friendships I've forged, mostly over IRC and SMS over the last few months. I am so thankful for friends, new and old.
Probably lastly, and most importantly is family -- despite having been home together pretty much continually for going on a year now I love them all. We've had our tense moments, but all in all, I'm so proud of how we've navigated this situation. I hope that we can continue to carry the patience and playfulness that we have to-date.
