Bolognaise Sauce
This is only the sauce, you'll need to cook the noodles separately :)
Ingredients - 4/6 servings
- 400g beef
- 1 celery stalk
- 1 carrot
- 2 yellow onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 large can of peeled tomatoes
- half a beef cube, for stock
- 20 cl water
- Herbes de provence mix (thyme, oregano, dill etc)
- salt and pepper
Instructions
- boil the water and put the beef cube in it to obtain beef stock
- peel the carrot and dice it
- dice the celery stalk
- mince the onions and garlic
- put the meat in a crockpot/large pot
- add the diced carrot, celery, onion and garlic
- cover with the content of the tomatoe can
- add the beef stock and herbs
- add salt and pepper to taste
- put a lid on the pot and cook for 3h on low fire.
