I'm feeling pretty wrung out from my week-long hyperfocus session on my Neocities. It's been a lot of fun, but constantly editing HTML and CSS has been pretty exhausting. Especially when something breaks! I'm not exactly a coder or programmer, just an artist looking for new mediums to try.

Fortunately, I do have my next set of dental extractions coming up - that should be able to force my busy mind to rest a bit. Until then, though, it's figuring out how to keep my busy mind from going off the rails from boredom.

Most of the gemlogs I've seen on gemini have made it seem like a good chunk of people using it are programmers or computer scientists. I don't exactly fit into those categories, and I don't have anything relevant to add to those discussions. It's kind of weird being on here still because of that. Hopefully I'll settle in soon.

To do

plan next zine (probably something about being diagnosed with ADHD in my late 20s, after years of just being considered "mentally ill", and the ramifications that's had on my life)
clean the house & get soft foods in prep for surgery recovery
work a bit on the Shrines part of my website. I'll probably end up just taking pictures of my physical altars and sharing them there, as a placeholder.
