@bavarianbarbarian right. it's like, if you consider WWII where the world essentially fought for control of oil, the net result is we all shared it and prospered anyway. Only the administrative details changed, as Britain finally ceded superpower status to the USA.
The same result could have been achieved without 5 years of war, suffering, and the absurdities of depopulation. · 10 months ago
