I alluded to some project ideas in my previous post, but I feel like I want one gemlog entry where I enumerate what I'd love to be able to do on gemini, in one place, for ease of reading.
I'd love to be able to, in a graphical client, have a CGI script or something that will take an HTML/HTTP page and strip it down with something like readability to get the content out, and serve that over gemini. That'd mean the sites in the mirrorlist would be able to serve their links over gemini as well, which would really take away a lot of my casual reading on HTTP land.
For both the use of reading and ideally adjusting the tilde.club wiki from gemini. Adjusting is definitely even more than a stretch goal, but supposedly it could work based on twinwiki?
Parsing and reading RFCS, would be a nice addition to gemini space in my opinion, things like that would be useful to have as a reference resource on gemini space.
Exploring git repos seem to be something that people are looking into in gemini space, I'd love to be able to broadcast change requests like responding to posts on the gemlog space. That'd bring a lovely sense of community in the programming group(s) on gemini space.
I feel like it should be feasible to interact within the activity pub spec from gemini. No idea where this project would go though.
