the way the sun hits the shingles
on the roof across the street
and the chiminy smoke is drifting
on its way to meet the sky
with the neighbourhood trees
and the neighbourhood clouds
swaying to find peace
in the sweet suburban air
it calls you to stay
to sit back and breathe
on a neighbourhood bench
while the wind plays with your hair.
