corpses

dusting is dealing with corpses

we've grown desensitized

it's amazing just how twisted this

disguise of horror got

we say "they didn't pay

for rent or groceries

or make amazing music, so

why should we even care?

they're like us but they aren't us

so it's ok to be indifferent

and i can sleep just fine

knowing no 'human' had died."

and we say the same for cows

when we hear them crying

for the loss of their moms, their kids

because we wanted milk
