We cut straight back into depressed Paradise.
Andrew seems absolutely crushed by the Rodney/Eliza situation. He is absolutely devastated by Eliza's betrayal. I'm right there with you buddy.
Brandon was also broken by Eliza. Eliza is a real life villain.
- It also reinforced how much he loves Serene and it's honestly really sweet.
Ugh, I hate how much this show wants us to care about Eliza and Justin.
- Also, Justin looks "surprise", but did he know beforehand? I'm curious...
- I also care so little about these two people that I started scrolling through my phone.
JUSTIN REJECTED HER!!! He even pulled out the "I choose myself" line. You love to see it babyyyyyyy.
- Eliza feeling "wronged" by Justin rejecting her because SHE PICKED RODNEY OVER HIM is total bullshit. She felt "wronged" by Rodney because he said he said he was okay with her going on a date with Justin out of respect for her.
- I almost feel bad for Eliza in that she really has no idea what she's doing and keeps putting herself in positions where she gets hurt. I don't think I'll ever get to fully feeling sorry for her because through her bad decisions she's also hurting others like Rodney and Justin. She made the mess she finds herself in.
New Cast:
- Mara: No idea who this is (apparently she's known as marinara? OK?)
Poor girl's walking into a wake and pulled the most depressed among them in Andrew first.
Ultimately she picked the twin who was with Florence. Florence is not happy about it, especially because Mara isn't afraid to fight.
OK, Incoming rant:
- What in the actual fuck is with this show and creating dates where people are covering each other in food! Mara and Justin's date involved lathering each other in food, Justin's LAST DATE had him rolling around in beans and a tortilla, and I swear there's been another one. Are they so out of ideas that they thinking picking the worst date idea and doing it ad nauseum will make the show any more bearable? This show has a lot of problems, and this might be lower down on that list. But I end up fast-forwarding through most of these sorry excuses for dates because they're either boring or disgusting. It's ridiculous and has to stop.
Rant over.
Logan and Kate are having a "talk" about Kate's "I need more from you" at the rose ceremony.
- Logan isn't that great a communicator. He also can't quite grasp that Kate needs more from him. But I will say this, when people on this show say they "want more", I'm often lost as to what the "more" is.
Florence is expecting a lot from Justin the twin. He's a child Flo, he doesn't know things.
Mara is coming in hot, getting all up in Justin and Flo's conversation and not giving any shits.
But Justin picked Flo at the end. Wow, well played Justin.
And somehow Mara's crying now? She knew the guy for like 12 hours.
New Cast!
- Ency: Interested in Andrew.
- Lyndsey: And no, I didn't misspell her name. It's Lyndsey with a 'y'.
Andrew appears smitten by Ency. Poor Jessenia.
The fact that Logan couldn't outright reject Lyndsey's date request and instead said he needed to talk to Kate is typical Logan. The man can't help himself.
Logan's does the typical Bachelor thing of getting mad at their partner for nonsense as an excuse to make the decision they want to make. However, in the end he rejects Lyndsey's date.
And just like that, Lyndsey leaves. She was there for like 30 minutes. But that won't stop her from crying.
Johnny is such a bro to Logan. They're like peas in a pod.
Andrew and Ency seem to actually have a connection. I feel bad for Jessenia, she's so sweet.
Andrew is really sweet, but he's not doing a great job letting Jessenia down. He keeps bringing up needing new energy and needing to figure stuff out, but not really taking into account how Jessenia's feeling. I think she's too mature for him. I like her and want her to find someone for sure.
New Cast!
- Gabby and Rachel: Last Season's Bachelorettes! What in the actual fuck?
I should note that during the filming of Paradise, the two of them are still engaged to the guys from their season. So I ask you, why are they on paradise?????
