Victoria is the MVP. Between her practical approach to choosing between Alex and Johnny, and her great communication, she's the complete package.
Brandon and Serene are so secure he can say whatever he wants and is the most relaxed person on the beach.
We lost Sarah to a family emergency. Best wishes to her.
I've said this once and I'll say it again: Jesse MUST cut down on the hyperbole in every interaction.
I love that there's beef between the new and OG women, and it's all about each others hygiene.
You know what, Shanae and Jacob might make a great, weirdo couple?
If I were Victoria, I'd find Johnny's childish behaviour a high-key indicator of his immaturity.
- Also, I'm doubling-down on picking Alex after hearing Danielle boosting Johnny. #GetOuttaHereMichael&Danielle
Rose Ceremony Casualties:
- Australian Guy (Apparently his name was Adam?)
Alex was saved by Florence! Victoria still has a chance to correct her mistake and pick Alex.
Johnny's insecurity is such a turn-off. Victoria (mistakenly) chose him, and he's still freaking out about Alex.
Tyler and Logan joking about about domestic Johnny and the impossibility of that is the embodiment of the mismatch between him and Victoria!
New/Old Cast Member:
- Justin: Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Why are we again bringing another cast member back after they've left the island? There MUST be more guys they can pull. I feel like I'm repeating myself a lot, but it's just indicative of the bachelor franchise shooting itself in the foot over and over and refusing to meaningfully innovate.
And on top of it all, they're trying to bring drama into Rodney and Eliza's relationship. These producers suck, y'all.
- And this is creating another rift between Aaron and Genevieve.
Aaron is making no sense with his argument with Genevieve. I'm so confused, and so is Genevieve (and Wells, and Alex, and probably everyone else on this island).
Eliza is making no sense. She says she wants Rodney to say "don't go on this date", he says "don't go on this date", and she thinks he's saying "you should explore other relationships" when he says "I'm confident in our relationship if you do choose to go on this date". What is with these people!!!
- Maybe Eliza and Justin deserve each other. #MoronsInLove #JusticeForRodney
------
New Cast:
- Hayden: An utter piece of shit from Rachel/Gabby season.
Hayden sucks.
- Terrible conversationalist.
- obsessed with his dog.
- Terrible personality.
Logan is making the exact same mistake as Rodney, which in my opinion, isn't a mistake. That mistake being reassuring and giving their blessing on going on dates with new guys. But apparently that's the wrong move and they should instead be possessive and demonstrably against them seeing anyone lest they be seen as "not fighting for the relationship". Fuck outta here with this shit.
Also, can I just say, the fact that Kate was the only one who wasn't completely turned-off by Hayden makes me suss about Kate's picker.
- And that was until she spent more talking with him and it was immediately clear that he's actually a terrible person.
I think I'm going to hate Eliza and Justin as much as Michael and Danielle. #FuckTheseCouples
Eliza hurting Rodney is the fucking worst. HATE her.
- I need everyone on the beach to turn on Eliza.
We need more Andrew narration and way less Michael and Danielle narration.
New Cast:
- Justin and Joey: Twins. Too young.
Another terrible casting decision by the show. The "novelty" of twins wears out real quick, and when it does we'll be left with two dudes with no personality taking up room and roses and wasting our time yet again. I'm not sure what the solution is to this problem, but bringing in terrible people like Hayden, twins with no personality, and contestants who were already eliminated are all wrong decisions.
I feel bad for Florence (the Australian). She came all the way to Mexico just to be stuck dating the baby twins and no connection with a normal grown man.
The show literally had to get Shanae and Florence drunk to "feel a connection" with these children.
The Genevieve and Aaron blow-up:
- Neither of them communicates well.
- They say how they feel way after they should have and when they do talk it starts off on the bad foot.
- Genevieve goes big when she's mad. It's like a runaway train.
- Aaron seeking advice from a fellow bro in Johnny is probably not the right move.
- Genevieve looking to Victoria is definitely the right move.
- Aaron is being very assertive, but like, not in a way that makes sense. And that triggers Genevieve to take-off, bags packed and everything.
- And as they scream and fight, they finally tell each other that they are falling in love with each other and Genevieve isn't going to leave.
I think Aaron and Genevieve might be meant for each other?
I guess we'll find out next week!
