The Amiga Ireland event is just around the corner. Starting tomorrow, Friday the 13th, which I hope will not mean anything evil, and for two days, Amigans from around the world will meet to celebrate their passion for Amiga computers.
For two days it's all about Amiga software, hardware and err... a few pints as well. I started visiting this event when I moved to the country, back in 2018. My first time was back in 2019, with a couple of friends that travelled from Greece.
Since then Amiga Ireland has grown a lot, bringing more and more Amigans together. And you can imagine how eager everyone is to escape from reality for a few days, enjoy Amiga and a few beers with friends.
If you plan to visit us this year you will find me there of 'course. I will have my own X5000 with AmigaOS 4 and MorphOS installed and ready to test. Please, feel free to have a word with me at any time you like and do not hesitate to introduce yourself.
Also, I will bring my beloved Amiga 1200 which will be used to demo the upcoming Reshoot Proxima 3 that was kindly provided by Richard Löwenstein for everyone to test. I really love Richard's work and I wait for this new game to be released.
Finally, I will have with me a few Amiga Future issues to share with you. Andreas Magerl was enough to share with all of us the magazine he releases tirelessly for around 25 years now. So, if you are around, please come by and grab a copy.
So, later today is about packing everything and getting ready to have a great time with all of you guys. I am looking forward to meeting you at the Amiga Ireland.
