~bartender - a glass of water, please.
I was introduced to supernatural, the tv show a month ago. I must admit I am more of a hip hop guy, but the music in this show... man. The tracks just made me feel so pumped. I have never heard rock before this because to me it was just noise, but now all I listen to is rock.
Some of the notable ones were:
Back in black - AC/DC
Back in the saddle - Aerosmith
A song which stuck out to me was
Beautiful loser - Bob seger
There is just some kind of _feel_ to the music. I don't know how to explain it. Any of you wanna play similar songs on the jukebox over there?
I love Supernatural's extensive use of classic rock, it's so fun. (Especially in the first 5 seasons when the show was at its best, IMO.) The one that sticks out in my mind is when they use Renegade by Styx. (Honestly, I'm surprised that they never used Free Bird.)
I'm more into new wave music, but there really is an itch that can only be scratched by rock, especially for use in TV shows/movies. (Though iZombie's use of Der Komissar is a great use of new wave.)
Let's add to the queue:
Kickstart My Heart by Motley Crue
And to be thematic because why not...
Running With The Devil - Van Halen
Werewolves of London - Warran Zevon
November Rain - Guns N Roses
Here's your glass, friend. Let's get that jukebox going -- it's Halloween, isn't it?
