I'm Charles, and this is my blog. I'm a current graduate student at University of South Carolina studying for an MS in Computer Science. I conduct research research with the Heterogeneous and Reconfigurable Computing (HeRC) Group[1]. My research interests include high performance, embedded, and distributed computing.
Beyond academia, my interests in computing include UNIX systems administration and automation, open source software.
I am active in my university's ACM[2] chapter, as well as the university's Cybersecurity club. Beyond the university, you'll usually find me at the Columbia Open Source South Carolina[3] group, as well as at Colasec[4] when I can make it.
This site is a sporadically updated collection of thoughts, idea, and guides relating to these and other topics, mostly in the realm of computer science and computer engineering. This site (or rather the content on this site) is fully open source, and is available for use under CC-BY-SA 4.0 except where otherwise noted.
