I hope this helps. I had to modify an old ][ Drive to work on my Laser
128 in 1985. The DB19 connector was a little hard to find. I still keep
the drive for backup and I did change the ribbon cable last yr with DB19
connector with an Apple shielded cable that had the flat header
connector plus a molded DB19 on the other end. The Laser and IIc has
the same configured drive port as I have a IIc also. The old drive also
works on my IIgs at the end of the daisy chained 3.5 and 5.25 drives.
