There's no doubt the internet has developed into something powerful, it gives us access to thousands of helpful services and sites for work and entertainment, but it's a double-edged sword. Privacy has kinda become a thing of the past, cross-site tracking and CPU-hungry scripts are everywhere. I like the new Gemini protocol, it's just like the old internet, and it's been made specifically to stay that way. User-focused blogs and services reign here and I think that's honestly really cool.
