What is the difderence between a child and an adult?
I wonder if it is how they relate to unlikeable but necessary tasks: a child will delay it, try avoid doing it, complain while doing it. An adult will just do it because it needs to be done.

If that is true, I know a lot of children my age. I think some of need to be reminded to stop acting like a child and grow up. · 2 years ago
Surely it's chronological age that makes the biggest difference ;-) Nah but I think you are onto something. This, along with realizing how great it is to be well rested, is something most people discover as they get older -- getting the unpleasantries out of the way first makes it much easier to relax and enjoy the pleasant things later. Chronic procrastinators always chronically have things they ought to do. That's a lot more stressful than I think they realize, and that's why they feel the need to relax all the time. In making distinctions, the *purpose* of the distinction is vital, IMO. · 2 years ago
