The Revolutionary's Burdens

The Revolutionary’s Burdens

The mindset of a revolutionary is unchangeable by any negative force in

the society, and especially by the system. In fact, these oppressive

forces are the driving energies behind the thrives of a revolutionary.

The true revolutionaries are those who act for the most powerful

reactions against all oppression and corruption of authority. The

mindset of such revolutionaries experience oppression, and/or have

fought the oppressed, and understand firmly that without liberation

there would be no tomorrow for any of them. They steadfastly understood

that no single kind of reformation or collaboration with state power

could bring peace and ending for all oppression, and the revolutionaries

stop at nothing to reclaim that freedom from any oppression, one way or

another.

These are the powerful invisible forces that enable a revolutionary to

take a bullet for another being. This is what to allow a revolutionary

to block the blow of oppressor for the bullied even it was fatal. These

are what driven such courage and righteousness of the revolutionaries

that no fairy-tale heroes could match them. The dichotomy concurs, what

have prevented the undying fire of a revolutionary’s heart and mind to

carry out the grand plan to liberate all lives, humans and animals

alike, from oppression? Their own lives. The burdens that capitalism

have enslaved the greatest mind of the people with no bound of

selflessness and courage.

Eight hours of sleep, eight of leisure, eight of works... Scratch that

and rewind. Sixteen hours of works because of two-three odd jobs, five

for sleep, and three for being stuck in a sardine box called public

transit. Ones could never have thought how could anybody have any

remaining time for leisure, or making plans for revolutionary and

insurrectionary activities. Yet day-by-day, the revolutionary actions

keep on happening. Why should anyone sacrifice their little time for the

greater action of the society? But it is almost miraculous that the

revolutionaries have made time and space for the greater good of the

collective existence, despite the capitalist lifestyle have burdened and

constrained them into cogs and screws for the regime. The everyday

revolutionary fights on.

The most imaginative power that a revolutionary inherited from

experience of their lives, is the knowledge and skill to make used of

any tool, people, time and space they have come across. States too have

such power, however they are bought and coerced to happen, not being

driven by the relationship of mutual aid between living beings. It is

the power of selflessness, to inspire for millions of other similar

people to stand up against all oppressors. It is the power of

solidarity, that ones understand the suffering of another and fight for

them. It is the power of care and love, for each other that drove a

typical person toward the greatest acts of revolution regardless of

burdens.

The only burdens left to decipher, is their own prison of mind. The cage

that hampered their imagination, the power of love, the force of

resistance. It’s the prime decision to break their psychological chain

that enslaved their freedom. It’s the choice between accepting what they

were labeled, or kill the cop in their mind and be liberated. The true

state of mind of a would-be everyday revolutionary is everything. There

is nothing to loose but their mindful burdens.

Would you rather liberate yourselves so you can assist other for their

liberation? Or be caged, both mentally and physically by the burdens of

capitalist society? Would you be stuck in the repeated loop that the

society decided for you, or to seek the imaginative freedom? To free

other from similar chains? If you could answer these questions for

yourselves, you are truly free from all burdens.
