Title: LOVE IN DYSTOPIA Author: anonymous Date: March 30, 2022 Language: en Topics: love, anarchism, metropolis, utopia, dystopia, commons, theft, love poetry, poetry,
how could i
hate the metropolis
when i met you in its belly,
among the chewed up,
and half digested remains,
of the commons?
if we met in utopia,
we couldn’t trace our scars together,
we couldn’t let our fingers,
linger,
where our traumas intersect.
we couldn’t bond over,
our ancestors’ bondage.
cannon fodder for tyrants,
labor power for titans.
in utopia,
police stingrays couldn’t intercept,
the filthy little texts,
we send between stealing property,
and stealing glances.
because in utopia,
there are no cops,
and there are no fences.
