Hi Guys,

This is a Christmas gift to those who do not spend all their resources on
current flamewars.

SYMBOLIX FREE FOR UP/DOWNLOADING

Symbolix is a major math application for Apple IIGS computers. It is available
since late 1990 and has been updated quite a few times. The complete package is
now available at zero charge for downloading (well, almost). If you like the
program, I'd appreciate some bucks from you..:)

Unfortunately, my personal uploader is in the woods right now. If anyone cares
to upload Symbolix 1.9, I'd be most thankful. I dunno when he's back, but it'll
take at least another week. :-( IF YOU DO HAVE SYMBOLIX 1.9 AND ARE WILLING TO
UPLOAD IT, PLEASE DO IT! Thanks...

Symbolix features:
- calculator (RPN) with 21 stacks, 100 complex variables, stack ops, ...
- ca. 35 symbolic constants
- ca. 35 scientific functions
- enter algebraic expressions
- up to 8 formulae in memory
- expand, collect, sort, simplify, derive formulae SYMBOLICALLY
- integrate numerically
- plot 2D graphs of equations, apply colors, grid
- polar graphs
- precision control
- export graphs via clipboard and various file formats (incl. quickdraw pict)
- plot 3D GRAPHS with hidden line suppression
- color palettes, choose any viewpoint (rotate preview in real-time)
- grid etc.
- animate 3D graphs! (using Animator plug-in)
- notepad, tables (geometry, chemistry, math)
- online help (balloon help)
- use/write plug-ins (several provided)
- point & click interface
- supports Floating Point Engine and Number Cruncher (features custom code,
no silly patches required, leaves your slot settings "as is"!)
- excellent review in major magazines
- priced at $135...now shareware!
- written in superfast assembly language (derive faster than Theorist on IIsi)
- just a cool, IIGS-native desktop app that delivers...hehehe
- requires GS/OS 5.x or higher (6.x recommended), 1.5 Mb RAM (2 Mb rec.)

Brought to you by ex-Bright Software (The Gate, SpaceFox, MultiView,
ShadowWrite/Hermes). This announcement is supposed to be a Christmas gift to
all Apple ][ fellows and is said to make you happy for at least another
century!

If you have comments, suggestions, etc., feel free to e-mail me.

Enjoy, Merry Christmas & Apple ][ forever,

Henrik Gudat
