Been having "a go" of it lately (to put it in British terminology). Meaning, psychosis symptoms/ailments have been bothering me, due to a number of issues: the endlessly noisy neighbor (I am seeing about changing apartment units (again) tomorrow, which I hope they go along with), the psych med which I currently take messing with my digestion (causing me to NOT take it, hence the symptoms - I took it today, though), the distress from lack of funds as of late (better budgeting will be happening in July), etc.
But, this morning I opted to take the psych med, despite indigestion, and have felt relatively good all day. I managed to hammer out some "interesting" things on TMO (or, *I* thought they were interesting, as best I can tell), and I also posted a reminder for an IRC chat meetup we have every Saturday on that particular blog network. So, things are looking up, mostly.
But enough of me complaining of anything/everything, I stopped in for a hot coffee, and to see how everyone is doing.
Perhaps some jukebox music will change my spirits? Anyone have any suggestions of good tracks/albums they put on when they are feeling "down"?
Stay well, M.p :)
Sorry to hear that ~tffb.
Hope you feel better soon. I'll have a chai with you if you don't mind.
I tend to go two ways with music when I have the blues, I either listen to upbeat hip-hop stuff or I listen to bhajans. Now I don't know if you know what Bhajans are, but they are basically hindu religious songs. They provide me strength to move on.
Here is an album that might help you feel better (if you like it though):
Graduation - Kanye west
Feel better!
